The name Chandigarh is an amalgam of Chandi, which refers to the Hindu goddess, and Garh, which means fortress. The name is derived from an ancient temple Chandi Mandir, devoted to the Hindu Goddess Chandi, located in Panchkula District.

10 days travel plan from Chandigarh to Nako, kalpa, kaza

Day 1 If you start from Chandigarh, we need to travel  towards Sarahan. It is approximately 170 km from Shimla and 120 km is Chandigarh. It might take 6 hours to reach Sarahan.
